*One suspect in the Boston Marathon bombings is dead, and a second suspect is on the run after a night of chaos in Boston.

*As many as 35 people, including 10 first responders, were killed in the Texas fertilizer plant explosion, West, Texas, Mayor Tommy Muska told USA Today.

* Twenty-four current and former Internal Revenue Service employees have been charged with stealing government benefits.

* The head of engineering at Boeing Co.?s (NYSE: BA) Commercial Airplanes unit told managers Thursday the company will trim its engineering workforce by up to 1,700 positions this year, with as many as 700 job cuts coming through layoffs, reports the Seattle Times.

*How sharing a video clip can lead to arrest. A man who says he was only pretending to drink and drive on a video he posted online faces charges of consuming alcohol while operating a vehicle and driving without a license.

*KPMG LLP said it will reassess its internal safeguards following an insider-trading case that has led to the firing of a senior partner and the accounting firm's resignation as the auditor for two companies.
