Forbes writer said the average cost is $20,000 for a contest divorce. According to the article, Australian media mogul Rupert Murdoch's divorce cost him $1.7 billion. "The divorces of Michael Jordan, Neil Diamond, Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg each cost more than $100 million, according to Reuters."

Online divorces cost much less. BUT

How about the loss of the other partner's income? Child support? Maybe it is amicable and do it yourself now. But later things can change.
